Located in Asheville, North Carolina’s gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains, Biltmore Mansion was the Gilded Age dream of George Washington Vanderbilt. It’s known as the biggest personally owned property in the United States. The estate covers over four acres of land and was developed by Richard Morris Hunt. There are a total of 35 bedrooms, 43 baths, and 65 fireplaces spread among the 250 rooms of this French Renaissance castle.

The Biltmore House is surrounded by landscapes covering 75 acres, all created by the famous American landscape gardener Frederick Law Olmsted. It has been said that Biltmore was the origin of forestry in the United States.
