Actor Ed Harris was not long into his career when he realized his hair was thinning. But rather than fighting that and putting on a multitude of chemicals, he shaved his front and top and kept a longer mane around the back of his head. That has now become his signature look.
The shedding didn’t hold him from depicting class-A performances either. He’s been nominated for four Oscars in his career, all of which came in the late ’90s and early 2000s. One of these scene-stealing turns came in the year 2000 for his best-known feature, “Pollock,” which got him nominated for a few awards as well.
