Everyone who takes to the runway knows there is a likelihood of taking a tumble along the way. The intense practice of preparing for D-day sometimes isn’t enough to prevent the inevitable. The difference is how each woman reacts to the accidental fall, and for Ataui Deng, she kept it fun and never allowed the smile to leave her face throughout.
While showcasing a colorful ensemble at the 2008 Z Spoke by Zac Posen show, she couldn’t win the fight to stay on her feet. Deng had just made her runway debut early that year, walking for L’Wren Scott, Jeremy Laing, and Kai Kuhne.
