At first, it would seem that this legislation of the Corn State is set in stone. In the state of Iowa, it is against the law to throw bricks or any other “hazardous devices or toys” into a roadway, alley, or any other public land unless you have formal authorization from the City Council. This includes throwing bricks onto a roadway.
It is illegal for a person to toss or dump on a roadway any material that has the potential to hurt another person, animal, or vehicle that is also on the highway. If someone violates either this section, they have committed a misdemeanor that is penalized.
