His old colleagues provided these details at Fordham University in the Bronx. Washington has equally made up for his basketball shortcomings with his acting credits in films such as “Glory” and “Training Day,” which earned him Oscar wins. In 2022, the A-list leading man landed another Academy Award nomination for his Shakespearean magnum opus “The Tragedy of Macbeth.”
