A hard-as-nails and intelligent man perhaps describes Tommy Lee Jones better, just like his role in the “Men in Black” movies. That was also clear throughout his stay at Harvard. He was an integral part of the Harvard football team from 1965 to 1968 and was a member of the renowned squad that went unbeaten in the ’68 season.
Jones didn’t, however, spend all of his time fretting about football. He was also a scholar, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and graduating Cum Laude in 1969. He also studied under the tutelage of dramatist and playwright Robert Chapman and was inspired by him to start acting.
