Mandy Patinkin – Sunday in the Park with George
Mandy Patinkin is an acclaimed American actor and singer known for his TV, musical theatre, and film works. He got an enviable start in 1975 when he made his theatre debut opposite Meryl Streep in the revival of “Trelawny of the Wells.” Patinkin later gained worldwide fame for originating the iconic role of Che in “Evita” in 1979 and that of Georges Seurat in “Sunday in the Park with George” in 1984.
His performance in the former play won Patinkin the 1980 Tony Award. The happy news for his fans is that he has not pulled the brakes yet and is still adding to his long list of acting credits.
