Michael Crawford – Black Comedy
Michael Crawford, an actor, singer, and comedian, has won numerous awards during the decades of his acting career. His brilliant years of performance include TV, films, and stage performances on Broadway in New York City. His Broadway debut was in Peter Shaffer’s “Black Comedy,” where he demonstrated his talent for highly physical comedy.
Crawford also starred in the London Company of the popular Broadway musical “Barnum,” winning an Olivier Award. Crawford played the original Phantom in”The Phantom of the Opera’ which solidified his position in the top ranking of entertainment stars in the US. The role brought him Broadway’s Tony Award and the Outer Critic’s Circle Award.
