Patti LuPone is an American entertainer and vocalist most famous for her work in musical theater. Besides winning three Tony, two Olivier, and two Grammy Awards, she was also a 2006 inductee to the American Theater Hall of Fame.
LuPone started her profession with The Acting Company in 1972, making her Broadway debut with”Three Sisters” in 1973. She got the first of her eight Tony Awards nominations for the 1975 two-act melodic “The Robber Bridegroom” that ran on Broadway for two consecutive years. She has been amusing her loyal fans with her exceptional acting skills for five decades and remains active as ever in theatre and on-screen.
