Natalie Portman landed her first role, which turned out to be a leading role in the 1994 action drama, “Léon: The Professional,” where she played an orphan child, ‘Matilda.” And thanks to that infamous film, Portman became the first person in the 1980s to have won the Academy Award for Best Actress.
Not many actors can make a splash as big as she did during their debut and keep up the momentum. But Portman has since moved on to bigger and better things. A perfect example was in 2022 when she played Jane Foster in MCU’s “Thor: Love and Thunder.”
