Timothée Chalamet is the poster boy of Generation Z’s cool crowd. And in 2017, he caught our attention with his portrayal of a lovestruck teenager in the coming-of-age film “Call Me by Your Name.” And just when we thought we’d seen his best, he showed us he can feel at home in different film genres in Greta Gerwig’s “Lady Bird” and “Little Women.”
Although “Dune” was met with mixed reviews after its release in 2021, the opinions of the disgruntled audience did nothing to dull Chalamet’s fame. Not bad for the boy who made his television debut playing a murder victim on “Law & Order.”
