If there’s one actor who’s shown a capacity for depth and the ability to bring her A-game to each performance, it would be Lupita Nyong’o. So it’s no surprise that she’s received an Academy Award, four NNACP Image Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Nyong’o first caught our attention after her breakthrough role in the 2013 historical drama “12 Years a Slave.” But only diehard fans of hers would remember that she got her first taste of acting in 2008 when she starred in the short film “East River.” And in 2022, she reprised the role of ‘Nakia’ in the sequel to the “Black Panther” movie.
