Rebecca De Mornay – Songwriter

Rebecca De Mornay enjoyed success as an actress in the ’80s after her breakthrough role in the 1983 movie “Risky Business.” Throughout the ’80s and ’90s, she continued appearing in notable films like “The Three Musketeers” and “The Slugger’s Wife.” Her role in the latter as Debby Huston is one of her most famous performances to date.

Interestingly, De Mornay could have pursued a different career than acting. When she was just 16 years old, she was already writing songs that an agent was selling to German rock and roll musicians. She even wrote the theme song of the 1975 kung-fu movie “Goodbye Bruce Lee: His Last Game of Death.”
