Fox eventually transitioned to being a pop star in 1986 after she released her single “Touch Me (I Want Your Body).” The song reached No. 1 in many countries including Australia, Canada, and Sweden. Her debut studio album “Touch Me” came later that year, and two years later, Fox became a Brit Award nominee for Best British Female Artist.
