Here is another customer at one of the 17 branches of Dick’s Last Resort. Her paper hat with the words “I went to the prom with Jesus” is clearly a joke aimed at her age. Judging by her wide smile, she is not offended and finds humor in the statement.
The dining chain is owned by Deja Vu, who has worked hard to expand it to many different states across America. The first installment was opened in 1985 in Texas. It was supposed to be a fine-dining experience, but after that failed, the owners decided to “go sloppy,” and thus, the obnoxious, offensive version came into being.
