The person who was operating this crane must be the most unlucky in the world. Who knows whether they were able to keep their job after crashing a crane into House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy’s house in California. Imagine how the Republican Leader must have felt returning home to meet this damage.
Apparently, the crane was there to remove a 150-year-old oak tree when it toppled backward and landed on McCarthy’s Santa Rosa home. The fall caused the building the split in half. Thankfully, no one was home when it happened. The driver probably didn’t balance the crane properly, and the tree must have been heavier.
