We can’t find a good enough reason to be so trusting of bridges. After all, we’ve heard of a few that have fallen. And they were made of something stronger than wood. There was no reason for this bus driver to test the wooden bridge by driving on it. That’s how it ended up falling into the water below.
Hopefully, there weren’t many people on the bus that ended up in harm’s way. If not, the bus driver would have a lot to answer for. A wooden bridge like this would have even pedestrians worried about passing through, much less a vehicle. The driver should have been more careful.
