Johnny Cash was amazed by the beautiful artist June Carter, who was then the wife of singer Carl Smith. Even though they started touring together in the ’60s, they didn’t get together officially until later in the decade.
The fruitful careers of this country music duo accounted for 13 Grammy wins and multiple other awards and nominations. Their only son John Carter Cash also grew up to become a singer and producer, carrying forth his folks’ legacy.
