Wyclef Jean is more famous for his solo career following 1997. However, he was a part of a rap and hip hop group at one point. It included his then-girlfriend Lauryn Hill. Although both of them were married to other people, the Fugees members continued to be romantically involved with each other.
Their band was big in the early ’90s and only their second album, “The Score,” released in 1996, became one of the best-selling records of all time. However, following a rough patch between the couple, the band dissolved in 1997. Nonetheless, they regrouped again in 2004 as they started to make public and TV appearances.
