Joan Jett – I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll (1981)
Joan Jett, also known as Joan Marie Larkin, is a rock artist and is famous for being the frontrunner of her band Joan Jett & the Blackhearts. She has been a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee since 2015 and has had her songs featured in several works of art.
Among Jett’s greatest works are the hit songs “Cherry Bomb” and “I Love Rock ‘n Roll.” The latter was a 1981 cover version of the 1975 original by the Arrows. It was ranked No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became Jett’s highest-charting song. Jett and the Blackhearts also released their first acoustic album in 2022, titled “Changeup.”
