While the American rock artist Bret Michaels has many songs to his credit, one that stands out among others is “Every Rose Has Its Thorn.” The track was the third single from a 1988 album released by the glam metal band Poison. As well as being the frontman of the band, Michaels was also its songwriter.
The track achieved international success and became the number-one hit in the United States. It also reached peak positions in several charts and was ranked number eight on the Irish Singles Chart. Michaels also featured as a special guest judge in a 2022 episode of the cooking game show, “Guy’s Grocery Games.”
