Founder and lead singer of metal band Dokken, Donald Dokken, is known for his unique style and influence on metal rock music. He formed his band in 1978 but parted ways with them in 1988. Dokken launched his solo career, releasing his solo album “Up from Ashes” in 1990.
By the early ’90s, Dokken revamped the band and has remained the only original member. He still worked as a solo artist while with the band. He is known for his strong vocals and was featured on “Destiny” in 2015. Dokken continues to make guest features and work on solo projects aside from those with the band.
