As of 2022, Major League Baseball player Matt Kemp earns $20 million a year. While just 22 years old, he debuted in the professional league in 2007. Through his adolescence, Kemp’s athletic prowess shone through, and he was a key contributor to Midwest City High School’s national championship run in basketball in Oklahoma.

Eventually, he gravitated away from basketball in favor of baseball, and the Los Angeles Dodgers picked him up in the sixth round of the 2003 draft. When it comes to his side activities, he has founded a local program called “Kemp Kids” and participates in other children’s organizations.
