It doesn’t take much to conclude that it only went downhill after Catherine Loewe lost her balance while wearing an all-black Jean Paul Gaultier ensemble. Signed by City Models Paris and Women Direct Milano, her career took speed in 2011 when Out of the Box Magazine featured her in an editorial.
In 2013, she teamed up with H&M for their holiday campaign, and the year that followed, Loewe walked at the Gaultier fall show. After stumbling a couple of times, she ditched the heels and completed her runway walk wearing socks. She also graced the catwalk that same year to showcase Jean Paul Gaultier’s spring collection.
