The unpleasant reality is that in many countries it is common practice for individuals to dump garbage whenever they like. In the state of Idaho, it is against the law to sweep it into roadways, highways, alleyways, or any other route that is utilized for public transport. This means that one’s trash can’t be another person’s treasure.
Trash strewn on privately owned property inside the country of Idaho is considered a misdemeanor that can result in a sentence of up to six months in jail and/or a fine of up to $1k, besides the possibility of being sentenced to eight to forty hours of community service for litter cleanup.
