The following is a statement on the illegal usage of body vests: As per the New Jersey Statute 2C:12-1b, someone is guilty of breaking the law if they use or wear a body vest while they’re involved in criminal actions. It includes attempts to commit, or flight after perpetrating or endeavor to commit the killing, attempted murder, theft, attempted rape, burglary, kidnapping, criminal escape, or assault.
