Perry Belmont House – Undisclosed

This mansion was built in 1909 for Perry Belmont and his spouse Jessie Sloane. Horace Trumbauer, a prominent figure in Philadelphia, was entrusted with the construction, while globally renowned French designer Ernest-Paul Sanson received his first contract in the United States.
Its distinctive interior and exterior design helped it fit on a triangular plot of property near Dupont Circle, and it was constructed with hosting lavish parties in mind. A true “Hôtel Particulier,” it looks completely at home on the chicest streets in Paris. In addition, it’s interesting that the Order of the Eastern Star has meticulously preserved it since 1935.
