Otto H. Kahn House – 109,000 sq ft

Otto H. Kahn, a German Jewish banker and humanitarian, lived at what is now known as the Otto H. Kahn House in New York City. The American designers J. Armstrong Stenhouse and C. P. H. Gilbert were responsible for the design of the home, which was finished in 1914. After Kahn died in 1934, the house was transferred to the Convent of the Sacred Heart, an autonomous Roman Catholic all-girl school.
As of 2022, it’s a building that is recognized as a landmark by the city of New York. Kahn utilized the 127-room villa as his summer residence during the Gilded Age in the ’20s.
