Before he became a Hollywood darling, George Clooney’s goal in life wasn’t about acting or filmmaking. He was a baseball and basketball player in high school, but shortly after graduation, he tried out for the Cincinnati Reds to pursue a professional baseball career.
Unfortunately for Clooney, things didn’t go quite as planned, and he failed to make the first round of cuts. He finally went on to college while simultaneously performing odd jobs such as selling women’s canvas, cutting tobacco, and working in the construction sector. Clooney’s now a great celebrity with multiple awards, and he rocked our screens in the film “Ticket to Paradise” in 2022.
