Lea Salonga – Miss Saigon
Lea Salonga is a celebrated Filipina actress and singer who started her career aged just seven in the musical “The King and I.” Later, she got the lead role as Kim in another musical, “Miss Saigon,” at 18. She’s been awarded several accolades to recognize her exceptional acting skills and became the first Asian Woman to win a Tony Award.
Salonga hosted her musical TV show, “Love, Lea,” from 1983 to 1985 and mainly acted in family-oriented films. She later reprised the role of Kim in 1991 when “Miss Saigon” opened on Broadway and was among the cast of “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin” TV show released on July 28, 2022.
