Liza Minnelli, known for her stage presence and strong alto performing voice, is among those group of performers who have been awarded a Grammy (Grammy Legend Award), an Emmy, Tony, and an Oscar. Minnelli was born in Los Angeles to the director Vincente Minnelli and actress Judy Garland.
Her career started in the 1963 Off-Broadway revival of “Best Foot Forward” and kept going as she got the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for featuring in “Flora the Red Menace” in 1965. Liza’s mid-’60s music albums like “It Amazes Me” and “There Is a Time” attracted a lot of young audiences.
