Born at the end of the ’40s, Jessica Phyllis Lange excelled as an actress, producer, and photographer. As evidence of her exceptional talent, she became the 13th actress in history to achieve the famed Triple Crown of Acting by winning three Emmy Awards, two Academy Awards, and a Tony Award.
Before she found herself in the movie industry and became this multiple-award-winning icon, she worked as a model and waitress in New York just to make ends meet. It was in 1975 that her modeling agency was contacted by a film producer who needed an actress to star in his “King Kong” movie. This eventually became Lange’s debut.
