We hope the girls in this picture know that the man they’re posing next to isn’t the real deal. Thaddeus Kalinoski had a nasty marital split, after which he gained weight and grew a beard. This transformation made him resemble Greek-American actor Zach Galifianakis.
Kalinoski decided to take advantage of the resemblance and started appearing as the star, often in character as Alan from “The Hangover” trilogy. He charged $1000 a night for an appearance. This got the attention of the trilogy’s producers, who cast him in “Hangover III” as a double for Galifianakis. Kalinoski made it into Hollywood and is said to earn $250K a year.
