By spreading awareness and vigilant check-ups, doctors can diagnose these diseases and, if possible, treat them early. That would help the patient from developing a life-threatening illness and also alleviate the $16 billion burden on the healthcare system caused by STDs alone. The top three STDs in America are HPV, Chlamydia, and Gonorrhea, affecting mainly people in the 15 to 30 age group.
