Paul McCartney was best known for his time with the band The Beatles. He was a bassist, songwriter, and co-vocalist for them until they disbanded. His most successful relationship, other than in music, was with the musician and artist Linda McCartney. He’d met her in a club in London and even formed the band Wings with her in 1971.
The duo got married in 1969 and had three children together. They were strongly in love and continued to be a couple until Linda passed away in 1998. Paul married twice later, with the latest in 2011 to his current wife Nancy Shevell.
