Chris Stein and Debbie Harry fell in love soon after joining the band Stilletos. They did not only leave the band in 1974 in a relationship with each other but also bought along the bassist and the drummer to form their own band. They named the group Angel and the Snake.
Sometime down the road, they renamed their band Blondie and were very successful in the years to come. The couple never married and even split in 1989. However, their musical connection lived on, and they continued their band and its legacy. Besides that, they’ve even collaborated on numerous other occasions.
