Singing superstar Whitney Houston rose to prominence in the late ’80s for her ballad “You Give Good Love.” And soon enough after that, she bumped into R&B singer Bobby Brown at the Soul Train Music Awards in 1989. After three years of being lovers, the two finally tied the knot in 1992.
Brown recalled his wedding day in an interview about 30 years later, saying that he had the jitters before the big day and had locked himself in the bathroom before Houston came to console him. The two were married for a good 15 years before they had to break their bond.
