Nas and Kelis became a hip hop and rap power couple when they married in 2005. Kelis is best known for a range of songs, including “Milkshake” from her third album, “Tasty.” The song was her highest charting single while it reached the top three on the US Billboard’s Hot 100 following its release.
When she met Nas in 2003, he was already an acclaimed rapper who had gained much fame after releasing his debut album in 1994. The couple tied the knot only two years into dating and later had a child together. Their bond didn’t last long, though, and ended in divorce in 2010.
