Sammy Hagar – I Can’t Drive 55 (1984)

There are two reasons Sammy Hagar is known as “The Red Rocker.” One is because the name features his first anthem, and the other is because no one rocks as hard as he does. A singer, songwriter, and guitarist, Hagar gained fame for his work with the band Montrose.

Thereafter, he started a solo career that went on to be very successful. In 1985, he became the second lead vocalist of Van Halen but left a year later. He then returned to the band in 2003 and stayed with them until 2005. In 2021, he released the album “Lockdown 2020.”
