It would be impossible to leave out Bob Dylan’s name in an accurate list of all the greatest songwriters of all time. Dylan is a singer-songwriter with a highly successful career that has spanned more than six decades.
His songs “Blowin’ in the Wind” and “The Times They Are a-Changin'” were so popular they became anthems for the civil rights and antiwar movements. During the 1960s, he was famous for political, social, and philosophical lyrics that defied the norm of pop music at the time. In fact, in 2016, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature for his unconventional style. In 2020, he released “Rough and Rowdy Ways.”
