Ringo Starr has not just worked with the greats, he’s one of them himself. Starting out as the co-founder of the band, the Eddie Clayton Skiffle Group, Starr soon became one of the most famous musicians in the industry. He gained prominence worldwide as the drummer for the Beatles. He also acted as lead vocalist for the band on several occasions.
He sang “Yellow Submarine” and “With a Little Help from My Friends” and also wrote and sang “Don’t Pass Me By” and “Octopus’s Garden,” for the band, amongst other songs. In 2021, Starr released an extended play record he titled “Zoom In.”
