Tom Glavine has amassed a significant fortune thanks to his successful baseball career with the likes of the New York Mets and Atlanta Braves. He was a two-sport letterman in high school, having done so in baseball and ice hockey.
The Los Angeles Kings picked him up in the first round of the NHL draft in 1984. But three years later, Glavine began his career as a baseball player. As a starter in the ’90s, he won 164 games. He also ended up victorious in at least 20 games in each of his five seasons and was named the league’s Cy Young Award winner twice.
