Prince Fielder was born in Ontario, California as a son of the former MLB star outfielder for the Detroit Tigers, Cecil. At the age of 12, he smashed a home run over the barrier at Tiger Stadium, and from then on, he was surrounded by professional baseball.
He played it all around the entire high school and was chosen to the Nashville Sounds’ minor league team in 2005. As a novice, he struggled early on, but he ended up setting a new franchise record for home runs. Ever since then, he’s been unstoppable at the plate, setting several records and dominating the league in hitting.
